After Life and everything coming to Netflix this week

Here’s everything that’s new on Netflix this week, including the premiere of Ricky Gervais’ series After Life as well as plenty of great movies.

March 3-9 is shaping up to be a pretty good week for Netflix subscribers. There’s a wide variety of content, including plenty of exciting new Netflix originals. Here’s everything you should definitely be checking out on the streaming service this week.

Fan of movies? Disney’s recently released Christopher Robin (2018) will drop on Tuesday, March 5. If you’re looking for something that enjoyed critical acclaim, you can check out Academy Award nominated flicks Blue Jasmine and Doubt when they hit Netflix on Friday, March 8. The Jane Austen Book Club is also worth a watch that day, if you’re a lover of all things heartfelt and romantic.

Ricky Gervais’ new Netflix original series After Life will also see its premiere on Friday, March 8. This new show is a deadpan dark comedy about a writer who takes up a prickly new persona in an effort to isolate himself after his beloved wife’s death. Leave it to veteran comedian Gervais to make even depression seem darkly comical.
