New on Netflix in March 2019: Santa Clarita Diet season 3 and more

The full list of what’s new on Netflix in March 2019, including new seasons of Arrested Development, Santa Clarita Diet and How to Get Away with Murder.

The full list of Netflix new releases coming in March 2019 is here! The streaming network shared the list of what’s new on Netflix next month, and it’s going to be another great month of new movies and shows for the streaming service.

There are a ton of Netflix originals on the way throughout the month. Many subscribers will be excited to see the new season of Santa Clarita Diet, along with the second half of the fifth season of Arrested Development. Santa Clarita Diet season 3 premieres on March 29, while Arrested Development season 5, part 2 arrives on March 15. Queer Eye season 3 is also coming to Netflix on March 15.

UPDATE: Netflix also just announced The OA Part 2 (the second season of the hit series) is coming to Netflix on March 22. This release date was left off the list of new releases when Netflix recently announced said list. We also shared the trailer for The OA Part 2 below.

In addition to The OA, Netflix also announced On My Block season 2 is coming to Netflix in March, but the streaming service didn’t announce when it would be released! We will continue to update you when On My Block season 2 is coming to Netflix.

UPDATE: On My Block season 2 premieres on Friday, March 29!

There are also a few new Netflix originals on the way, including Turn Up Charlie and After Life. Turn Up Charlie stars Idris Elba and tells the story of a DJ trying to make a life for himself. After Life, on the other hand, stars Ricky Gervais and focuses on a man who is trying to move forward after the death of his wife. Those should be the two most popular new Netflix original series coming in March.

The streaming network is also rolling out The Highwaymen next month. The film tells the story of the people who caught Bonnie and Clyde. It stars Woody Harrelson and Kevin Costner.

On the TV side, the new season of How to Get Away With Murder will also be available to stream on Netflix on March 30, about one month after the season finale airs on ABC. The first four seasons are currently streaming on Netflix now, so you still have time to get caught up before season 5 is available.

There are also some new movies headed to Netflix next month, including Disney’s Saving Mr. Banks and Christopher Robin. They will be some of the last new Disney movies added to the streaming service before Disney launches Disney+.

It’s also going to be another good month for stand-up comedy specials coming next month. Amy Schumer, Jimmy Carr, and Nate Bargatze have new comedy specials on the way in March.
