Wow! For only being 30-seconds long, the Avengers: Endgame Super Bowl trailer left us with a lot of questions! Let’s go through them all.

The latest Avengers: Endgame teaser is unfairly long, running only 30 seconds. It’s even shorter when you consider the first couple of seconds don’t include new footage and the final seconds is just the title card. Still, we’re not complaining here at all. We’ll take all we can get! Not to mention, the teaser spot contains enough to leave us with many questions.

Which characters are in the trailer? Front and center are Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner, Rocket, Natasha, Scott Lang, Tony Stark, Nebula, Hawkeye, Thor and Rhodey. Despite the short amount of time each of these characters is featured, the Endgame teaser gives fans a lot to unpack. Our emotions are all over the chart.

We are mostly worried about Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. Initially in the teaser, Steve looks angry and determined, but a quick scene towards the middle leaves us worried about him. As for Tony, his scene with Nebula appears hopeful, but we have a question that may turn that feeling around.

Before we dive into the biggest 7 questions, rewatch the teaser, below:

1. Why?

In the words of The Office‘s Kelly (Mindy Kaling), “first of all, how dare you?” Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame TV spot starts off with a quick monochrome montage of those we lost in Avengers: Infinity War. And my questions is, why? Why must we be reminded of the heartache? Thanks, Marvel.

2. Support group?

Okay, now for the serious questions — Is Steve Rogers aka Captain America (Chris Evans) in a support group? If you ask me, taking part of this therapy is a way to accept what has happened, but you can clearly see from Steve’s face expression that he accepts nothing. Steve refuses to back down. He’s not a quitter. Never has been, never will be.

Being part of the support group could be a way to help deal with what has been going on. Is Steve in there to cope or to fuel his strength and motivation to change things? I just know we are in for a few tears when this scene takes place.

3. Tony Stark and Nebula

This. This scene here is everything! Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) are working together to (we can only assume) fix a ship to head to Earth with the others.

Big question, though, and sorry if this breaks all hope you had after watching the duo working together: Is the devastating scene in the first trailer before or after this team up?

Think about it. In the first trailer from late last year, Tony is recording a message for Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) as he believes he’s going to run out of oxygen soon and die. But in this TV teaser, Tony is looking just fine working alongside Nebula. Did she suddenly appear and save Tony? Or are their efforts to build a ship no good and only Nebula manages to escape (being a machine and all), leaving Tony stranded?

4. Captain Marvel?

Look, up in the sky! Is it Tony Stark and Nebula’s return to Earth? Is it Captain Marvel? We’re not sure what we want more here. Captain Marvel’s big entrance would be amazing! But we also really, really want Tony Stark to survive and get back to Earth ASAP. What’s your guess here?

5. Rocket’s whereabouts

Rocket (Bradley Cooper) lost it ALL. The poor guy watched helplessly as his friends vanished. He doesn’t have anyone. We know he eventually joins the others, as the final epic scene shows him, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain, Natasha (Scarlett Johansson) and Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) walking together. In the meantime, however, where is he located? It doesn’t appear to be the same place the others are, based on what little we see.

6. Natasha’s braid

Black Widow’s hair is looking good. But, we have to wonder, who did her braid? In a quick shot, right after we see Rocket, Natasha is practicing her aim. She’s doing amazing, of course, best in the game, but we couldn’t help but notice her hair. That braid is tough to do on your own. Either someone helped her out or that’s the reason her arms are looking super-toned.

7. Steve Roger’s hand

Consider us shook and worried. Why is Captain’s hand so shaky? It’s also very dirty, and is that blood? Make no mistake, Marvel knows what they’re doing. They purposely focused on his hands. Captain America is in the middle of a fight here and is determined as ever. How badly is he injured, though?
