Did you watch all the season 4 episodes of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt over the weekend and want more? We’ve got sad news for you…

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is known as one of Netflix’s earliest original comedies. It’s adorkable, sweet, and so fun! It’s obvious the cast enjoys working together, which really helps the story. And although subplots are a bit out there at times, we go along with it for the giggles!

The fourth season of the comedy was broken up in two parts, with six episodes debuting on the streaming giant on May 20, 2018, and the final six this past weekend, January 25, 2019. And that, unfortunately, concludes the series as the fourth and final season.

The first thing fans do after binging many episodes is look forward to more, but that won’t be the case for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. The comedy was created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, and even though many of us hoped the series would be renewed for a fifth season anyway, we sorta knew it wouldn’t happen.

If you haven’t watched the series, what are you waiting for? Now that the show is complete, you can binge watch all episodes! Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt follows Ellie Kemper’s character, Kimmy, a young woman who was kidnapped in her teens and kept in an underground bunker for many years. Kimmy and others were fooled by Reverend Richard Wayne Gary Wayne (Jon Hamm) to believe that it was the end of the world, and the only safe place was in the bunker.

Kimmy and the others are freed, eventually, and instead of letting the event ruin her life, Kimmy’s ready to take on the world, beginning with New York!

There’s been talk of a Kimmy Schmidt movie, but Netflix has not announced that or even commented on it yet.

Fans are at least happy the series wasn’t “canceled” by Netflix. Instead, the showrunners believed and all agreed Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt had run its course and it was time to wrap up the story. Still, that doesn’t mean fans aren’t a bit disappointed. We’ll miss you, Kimmy!
