The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story starring Darren Criss and Penelope Cruz is now available to stream on Netflix.

The new season of American Crime Story is now on Netflix. The Assassination of Gianni Versace was added to Netflix on Thursday, Jan. 17. You have a day to binge-watch all nine episodes of the season before Netflix adds The Punisher season 2, Grace and Frankie season 5, Carmen Sandiego and a bunch of new shows on Friday.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace is one of the best shows of 2018. It won the Emmy and Golden Globe for Outstanding Limited Series and Darren Criss won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor.

Edgar Ramirez stars in the series as Gianni Versace, along with Criss, Penelope Cruz, Ricky Martin, Judith Light, Aimee Mann, and Finn Wittrock.

The series is based on the book Vulgar Favors: Andrew Cunanan, Gianni Versace, and the Largest Failed Manhunt in U.S. History by Maureen Orth. The show tells the story of the murder of Versace at the hand of Andrew Cunanan.

The series joins the first season of American Crime Story, The People vs. OJ Simpson, on the streaming service. If you liked that series or are a fan of Ryan Murphy and his team, you have to check out this story on Netflix. It’s more than worth a watch.

Overall, this wasn’t my favorite limited series of the year, but it’s clearly one of the best shows of 2018, and I think many Netflix fans will enjoy this show. It hits all the right beats in a good mystery/thriller biopic.
