The Punisher season 2 hits Netflix just after midnight Pacific Time on Friday, Jan. 18. Will you stay up to binge-watch the new season?

Marvel’s The Punisher season 2 is coming to Netflix at 12:01 a.m. PT on Friday, Jan. 18, 2019. The new season will be available to all those who stay up late Thursday night to watch the new season, and we know there are some passionate fans anxiously awaiting the release of the new season.

Jon Bernthal reprises his role of Frank Castle aka The Punisher in season 2. He’s joined by Ben Barnes, Amber Rose Revah, Giorgia Whigham, Jason R. Moore, Josh Stewart, and Floriana Lima in the new season.

In The Punisher season 2, Frank Castle faces a tough decision. At the end of the first season, Frank saved himself, basically, and was able to escape the vigilante life. With Russo returning to the fray, Franke must decide to continue on his new path or bring justice. What will he choose?

There also appears to be other dynamics in play in the new season. Check out the trailer for season 2 and see for yourself.

Unfortunately, it’s looking like this will be the final season of The Punisher at Netflix. The streaming network has already canceled three Marvel shows: Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Jessica Jones is still coming back with a new season sometime this year, but it’s expected that show will be canceled after that season, as well.

It appears to be the end of the Marvel era at Netflix. Hopefully, that’s not the case, but it sure looks like the writing is on the wall.
