Grace and Frankie season 5 is coming to Netflix at 12:01 a.m. PT on Friday, Jan. 18. We have a feeling there will be a ton of fans of the show staying up late to watch the new season. Unfortunately, that works out a lot better for those on the West Coast who can start watching the show at midnight. Those on the East Coast will have to wait until 3 a.m. to start the new season.

Based on what we have learned about the new season, season 5 focuses on Grace and Frankie’s continued journey together. The pair has decided to move back into their old home and call off the sale, but that’s only the beginning of this season’s story.

RuPaul and Nicole Richie are also set to guest star in the new season. We don’t know much about their roles yet, but we’ll find out soon. Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin return in their lead roles, with Sam Waterson, Martin Sheen, June Diane Raphael, Brooklyn Decker, Baron Vaughn and Ethan Embry rounding out the rest of the main cast.

Grace and Frankie is also coming back for season 6. Netflix announced the new season renewal prior to the release of the fifth season. That’s not very common for most Netflix shows, but as mentioned, this series is one of Netflix’s best, and it’s clear they wanted to lock this show down for at least another season.
