Love You on Netflix and need more creepy mysteries (and handsome stalkers) in your life? Here are five other shows to check out!

You on Netflix is a hit! Twitter blew up for days with tweet after tweet about the series and, more specifically, Penn Badgley’s character, Joe Goldberg. If you have been living without the internet for the past week, You follows Joe, a bookstore manager and beautiful human who also happens to be a little crazy. By little, we of course mean completely insane.

After Beck (Elizabeth Lail), a customer, catches his attention, Joe proceeds to stalk her. The audience follows along as Joe narrates the story. It doesn’t take long at all before the viewer learns more about Joe’s past and twisted ways. Surprisingly, we love Joe, anyway!

Did you binge-watch the entire first season? Who didn’t, right? It’s so addicting that it’s impossible not to watch in under two days. The good news is, there’s more where that came from! Season 2 has been confirmed and will premiere on Netflix after the streaming giant picked up the series from Lifetime.

The bad news, however? We’ve got several months before the season arrives. Our best guess? Season 2 premieres sometime this fall. What’s a fan to do while we wait for more? We recommend watching the shows below…

Dexter

Much like You, Showtime’s Dexter also focuses on a villain audiences fall for. In fact, depending on who you speak with, Dexter Morgan (portrayed by Michael C. Hall) may or may not be a villain at all. You see, Dexter’s day job is working as a blood-spatter analyst for the Miami police. But when he’s not in his office, he’s murdering bad guys. All eight seasons are streaming on Netflix.

Safe

Safe is a Netflix Original and also stars Michael C. Hall. However, this time, he’s playing an entirely different role than in Dexter. Don’t worry, though, the mystery element is still very much there, as well as murder and buried secrets.

The mini-series follows Tom Delaney (Hall), a surgeon and widowed father whose daughter goes missing. The search to find her uncovers a series of secrets and lies around the people Tom considered family and friends.

Bates Motel

If you missed Bates Motel when it aired on A&E, watch the series on Netflix! This show is not one you want to miss. Bates Motel serves as a prequel to the horror classic Psycho, by Alfred Hitchcock.

The psychological drama follows Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) and his mother Norma (Vera Farmiga) as they move to a new town and take on running a motel. Instead of sticking to the script and following storylines to match PsychoBates Motel throws in new characters and twists to the tale.

Mindhunter

This crime drama is also a Netflix Original. Mindhunter stars Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany. The duo play FBI agents Holden and Bill, who interview imprisoned serial killers in an attempt to get a better understanding of how their mind works. Their hope is to use this knowledge to solve and prevent future cases. Who knows? You may learn a bit about what’s going on in Joe’s head. Even if you don’t, you’ll get chills just by following Holden and Bill’s interviews.

The Sinner

The drama mystery stars Jessica Biel as a wife and mother who, while out at the beach with her family, inexplicably stabs a woman to death. The Sinner has it all — a gorgeous lead, mystery, drama and murder, with plenty of dirty secrets to uncover.

What will you be watching while You season 2 arrives? Did we fail to mention any shows on Netflix with a creepy resemblance to this series? Share with us in the comments!
