Donald Trump has become the subject of much interest/controversy over the past year and the writing staff at Family Guy haven’t shied away from poking fun at him for it. But in “Trump Guy”, they put the humor on a backburner to expose quite a few of Trump’s scandalous activities.

Somehow, the writers and producers over at Family Guy managed to clear an episode that paints quite the picture of Donald J. Trump — and it isn’t a pleasant one. We’ve witnessed networks and television show hosts alike condemn the President’s actions before, but not like this.

Fox’s network of channels always seems to hold a soft spot for Trump, supporting him in most/all situations. But when Family Guy — a show that’s been on Fox since its conception — throws some serious shade at the President — it makes quite the impression on the American people.

In this week’s episode, audiences get to see a full exposé on the President — referencing a number of scandalous moments in Trump’s real life. The whole plotline surfaced last week but really hit the ground running in “Trump Guy”. Check out our breakdown of the Trump highlights below.

Warning! Potential spoilers for the latest episodes of Family Guy follow. You’ve been warned.

  • Trump doesn’t spend much time at the White House

When the episode begins, Peter Griffin wastes no time poking fun at the President’s daily routine. He starts off by mocking Trump’s presence at the White House, pointing to the fact that our President takes taxpayer-funded trips to Mar-A-Lago every week — spending only a few days at his actual place of work.

Since he’s entered the White House, one of Trump’s biggest criticisms is how much time he actually spends there. Journalists and media outlets tracked Trump’s activities for the first year of his Presidency, revealing that he spent the majority of that time at his resort in Florida. Trump has attempted to brush off those claims but his consistent getaways haven’t helped his case.

  • No one can tell if Trump has a bald spot or not

Following the reference to Trump’s weekly vacations, Peter accompanies the animated version of Trump to his next meetings. But before Trump can walk into any room, Peter has to check that there’s no static-electricity wafting through. An explanation isn’t given but when an electrically-charged Peter walks out of a room and touches the President, his hair stiffens up.

The reaction causes Trump’s hair to straighten itself, exposing the bald spot on the top of his head. This particular sequence was a jab at the real Trump since it’s long been rumored that he hides a prominent bald spot — one which he covers poorly with an unnatural hairstyle. No one has been able to verify whether or not Trump is bald but it wouldn’t surprise anyone.

  • President Trump has been recorded talking about sexually assaulting women

Working with the President also forces the rest of the Griffins to accompany Peter to Washington. Most of them do so agreeably but Meg is annoyed that they’d uproot her so randomly. What’s worse is Meg Griffin gets sexually assaulted by Trump while she’s at a White House party.

During a private meeting with him, Meg begins praising Trump for just speaking with her. Midway into their conversation, Trump begins reaching towards the Griffin girl and then grabs her genitals. She’s shocked by the President’s advances and attempts to report his misconduct. Unfortunately, no one believes her.

People keeping up with all the scandals that our Trump has been implicated in are familiar with the infamous Access Hollywood Tape — a recording where Donald J. Trump discusses grabbing women by the genitals. In it, he also gloats about how being a celebrity grants him these privileges.

Family Guy’s take on the scandal merely shines a light on the President’s controversial behavior—  even if his base refuses to accept it. They’ve made excuses for the President, simplifying his language in the video to “locker room talk”. Even Trump’s female constituents have defended him in bouts where the Access Hollywood Tape was broached, but that has yet to dissuade people from Trump’s campaign.

  • Possible ties to Russia

In another corner of the White House party, Peter meets an interesting fellow who’s dining next to him. Peter introduces himself to the man who claims to be an average joe like him — despite possessing an obvious Russian accent. Peter remarks on how the White House is filled with Americans, hinting at the irony of his particular situation.

As most of us are already aware, President Trump’s ties with Russia have become a sensitive topic with many Americans believing he’s worked with foreign dictatorships to manipulate the 2016 presidential election. Those claims are still under investigation by a special FBI counsel but that hasn’t stopped a majority of onlookers from assuming the worst.

  • The Wall

Outside of Peter’s official duties to the President, he also participates in CNN political debates. On one such occasion, Peter guest-stars in a heated debate with four others over how to handle border security. One of their biggest points brought up is the wall — the wall that Trump has been fighting for since his 2016 campaign.

Americans who follow the news know that President Trump recently shut down portions of the government because Congress refused to fund his wall across the southern border of the United States. Trump has been in a standoff with them for the past three weeks, refusing to make any concessions unless his wall is funded.

Trump’s standpoint has created an even bigger divide among Americans with some showing unconditional support and others becoming absolutely outraged by the President’s callous holdout. Those most affected are the federal employees who are working without pay.

To add insult to injury, the shutdown resulted in a ban on raise-holds being lifted. The problem is that only the top ten percent of Trump’s White House staff would benefit from the raises. It’s been deemed a technicality of the government shutdown but the public is outraged that senior officials would accept raises while federal employees are still without pay.

  • Melania Trump doesn’t care too much for her husband

One of the funnier jabs at President Trump takes place when he and Melania are walking towards a helicopter. Trump attempts to hold Melania’s hand as they walk up the steps but she slaps his hand away aggressively. He doesn’t say anything but that’s probably because he’s interrupted by Peter storming up the walkway.

What this particular scene is referencing is a video captured of Donald Trump and Melania Trump visiting a foreign country. The footage shows Donald reaching for Melania’s had as they walk but she angrily slaps it away, rebuffing his advances. Everyone has their own theory on what actually happened but the consensus among most is that Melania isn’t too happy with her husband.

  • Trump isn’t worth as much as he claims to be

During Peter’s confrontation with Trump, he also throws out the fact that Trump isn’t valued as much as he claims. Trump says he’s worth eight billion but Peter gives a more accurate estimate of seven-hundred million. He follows up his estimate by adding that Trump borrowed most of what he’s claimed to have earned on his own.

The value of Trump’s conglomerate has been discussed before and it’s another topic under much scrutiny. Donald has claimed to have become a billionaire with little help from anyone, except the facts tell another story.

Multiple reports have come out, detailing exactly how Donald J. Trump became so wealthy and one such article revealed that the initial investment from Trump’s father wasn’t one million like he said. The investment was more like sixty-seven million and this wasn’t just one lump-sum — Fred Trump gave his son new loans as each of his business ventures failed.

Trump himself hasn’t commented on the allegations but his tax-returns would clear up the situation in moments. Unfortunately, Trump has refused to make those documents visible to the public so there’s no feasible way to confirm or deny.
