Solo: A Star Wars Story is now available to stream on Netflix! Will you be watching the newest Star Wars movie today?

Solo: A Star Wars Story is now on Netflix, as of Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019.

The film tells the origin story of the hero Han Solo prior to the events of Episode 4: A New Hope. The movie has an incredible cast, including Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and more.

Solo was directed by Ron Howard, who replaced Phil Lord and Christopher Miller as director after Disney fired Lord and Miller for creative differences.

With the addition of Solo on the streaming service, the three most recently released Star Wars films are available to stream on Netflix. You can watch Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: The Last Jedi on Netflix right now. Sounds like a good day for a marathon if you ask me!

Unfortunately, Rogue One is leaving Netflix later this month, so you only have a few days to watch the hit movie. And, we have even more bad news. This will be the last Star Wars project heading to Netflix. Disney is starting Disney+ later this year, and there will be plenty of new franchise content heading to that streaming service instead of Netflix.

Overall, Solo did not get the great reviews the new movies of the franchise have received. It’s not a bad movie, though. It’s definitely entertaining, and there are some awesome action sequences. Han’s origin story could have been better, but I’m not complaining. If you are a fan of Star Wars, this movie is worth a watch or two on the streaming service!
