Following the conclusion of Breaking Bad, Aaron Paul took on another series regular role in the Hulu original series The Path. He played Eddie Lane, a man caught up in a movement known as Meyerism, for three seasons until Hulu canceled the show earlier this year. Surprisingly, Paul wasn’t nominated for an Emmy Award for the part, after winning three of them for playing Jesse Pinkman.
TV audiences also likely recognize Paul from his appearances in commercials for Vitaminwater, and he’s also appeared in commercials for XBox.
On the big screen, Paul delivered an underrated performance as the hero Tobey Marshall in the 2014 video game adaptation Need For Speed opposite Dominic Cooper. He also starred as the troubled Hollis Willson in the drama Hellion and the well-meaning but way in over his head David in the thriller Come and Find Me, both of which can be streamed on Netflix.
Paul had a brief but memorable supporting role as The Rock’s former CIA partner in the comedy Central Intelligence, showed off a softer side in the Nick Hornby adaptation A Long Way Down, and played much more serious parts in the crime thriller Triple 9 and the military drama Eye in the Sky alongside Helen Mirren.
Aaron Paul is also a series regular and executive producer for Netflix’s animated comedy BoJack Horseman, which has run for four seasons and appears as himself in the David Blaine special Real or Magic. There’s still no word on if he’ll reprise his role as Jesse Pinkman on Better Call Saul, though.
