22. Everything Sucks! (2018)

If you’re looking for some 90s nostalgia, Everything Sucks!  is the show for you. The show takes place in 1996 in the appropriately named town of Boring, Oregon (which is a real city, by the way). The local high school’s misfits can be found in the AV and drama clubs. They’re figuring things out and making their way through all of the ups and downs of being a teenager.

Going into this one, you likely won’t be familiar with too many of the cast members. However, hopefully, the plethora of 90s references will be reason enough to check it out. The show does a decent job of transporting you back to a specific time period and that will certainly be enough of a reason for some people to check this out.

Unfortunately, the show will not be receiving a second season as it was canceled this April. You can watch the first (and only) season of the show on Netflix now. Despite the show being canceled, though, that doesn’t mean that it’s not one worth checking out. Since Netflix doesn’t really release any stats for their shows, we don’t know the exact reason it was canceled. But no matter the reason, the single season of the show will always be around.

Everything Sucks! stars Jahi Di’Allo Winston as Luke O’Neil, Peyton Kennedy as Kate Messner, Patch Darragh as Ken Messner, Claudine M. Nako as Sherry O’Neil, Quinn Liebling as Tyler Bowen and Elijah Stevenson as Oliver Schermerhorn.
