Avengers: Infinity War is in theaters now but will the latest Marvel movie be coming to Netflix?
Are you headed out to the movie theater to see Avengers: Infinity War this weekend? The latest offering from Marvel figures to be the top movie at the box office. That is already assumed, but the expectations are far higher than simply being the No. 1 movie at the box office now, it has a real chance to be one of the biggest blockbuster movies in film history.
The most recent Marvel movie, Black Panther, was a box office sensation and it’ll be a nice competition to see if Infinity War can approach or surpass the Chadwick Boseman-Michael B. Jordan titan of a flick.
I definitely think it has that kind of potential, but I also wonder if there’s some fatigue surrounding these movies that could turn away some casual fans.
But, it won’t turn me away, as I can’t get enough Marvel movies. And we’ll have another coming out next month with Deadpool 2. However, if you’re not able to make it out to the movie theater this weekend or while Infinity War is in the theater, you may be wondering if the movie will be added to Netflix.
Doctor Strange, Captain America: Civil War and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 are already on Netflix, so will Infinity War join them?
Will Avengers: Infinity War be on Netflix?
Sadly, Infinity War will not be coming to Netflix. The new Disney streaming service is going to prevent the movie from being added to Netflix. It will, however, be available to rent through DVD Netflix, which I recommend. But, yes, I realize, it’s not the same as streaming.
The movie likely won’t be on any streaming device until the Disney streaming service is up and running in 2019.
So if you want to see the movie, the theater is your best bet. Or you can wait about three-four months when it’ll be released on Blu-ray/DVD and on demand. But that’ll cost you more than a ticket to the theater, although you’ll be able to watch it more than once.
