The Path, season 3, episode 7 – The Gardens at Giverny

In the latest episode of The Path, The Gardens at Giverny, Meyerism goes to France

Season three of The Path  continues with The Gardens at Giverny.

Eddie and the crew head to France to dedicate a new center and appoint a guardian.  Cal thinks he’ll be named guardian as a reward for saving Eddie’s life. Sarah teaches a seminar while still having doubts about her faith.

Lilith works behind the scenes pushing Vera to assign Felicia a punishment. Quelle?  Felicia’s appointment to guardian fills Cal and Mary with shock and dismay Cal and Mary. Felicia confronts Vera about the appointment.  Vera uses the opportunity to question Felicia about Lilith.

Felicia tells her Lilith was disturbed and claimed Steve stole the religion from her.  Lilith seared the new followers, including her own child.   The group thought it barbaric, banned the practice and shunned Lilith.  VERA IS SHOOK.

Cal and Mary, slighted by Eddie cozy up to Jean-Paul, a rich benefactor.    Eddie distracted by Sarah refused to meet with Jean- Paul privately and Cal seizes an opportunity to embarrass him publicly.  Eddie finds Sarah in a garden and they have a delightful afternoon, sharing wine and dancing.

Sarah dreams about Lilith while hypnotised.  She sees a psychiatric hospital and Lilith as a patient of Steve Meyers.  While hypnotised, Sarah also sees  Lilith had the dream of the ladder.  She realizes a name and leaves France to pursue her vision.

Jean-Paul’s spectacle, trying to have Eddie climb a burning ladder, leaves Eddie incensed and he lashes out at Vera and fires her.

Vera and Mary commiserate over champagne and the vintage dresses of Jean-Paul’s mother.  Cal joins their revelry and sees a giant scar on Vera’s back that he recognizes.
