Parenthood starring Dax Shepherd and Lauren Graham is leaving Netflix in February and moving to Hulu.
We have bad news for Parenthood fans. It looks like Parenthood is leaving Netflix in February 2018. If you need to finish or re-watch Parenthood before it leaves Netflix, you better start soon.
Netflix has not formerly announced the hit NBC TV series Parenthood is leaving in February. The streaming network has not announced the full list of what’s leaving Netflix in February yet, but we are expecting the list within a few days. We do expect Parenthood to be on that list, unfortunately.
Last fall, it was reported Parenthood would be moving from Netflix to Hulu in 2018. It looks like that’s going to be a lot sooner rather than later. According to a report from our sister site Hulu Watcher, Hulu adds all six seasons of Parenthood on Feb. 15, 2018. Pairing Parenthood with This Is Us, Hulu is building a family drama juggernaut.
Because Netflix did not announce the news yet, we don’t know exactly what day you until to finish Parenthood. Lost, which moved from Netflix to Hulu earlier this month, left Netflix at 12:00 a.m. PT on Jan. 4, and the series was added to Hulu at 12:01 a.m. PT the same day. We’re expecting the same to happen with Parenthood.
That means, the last full day you will be able to watch the series on Netflix is Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14. We’ll be sure to let you know if that date changes.
Obviously, this is a bummer for fans of the series. The show has been streaming on Netflix for, basically, as long as the series end its first season in 2010. The fact that it’s leaving Netflix will not likely sit well for many fans.
Stay tuned for more news about the series leaving Netflix within the next few weeks.
