6. White Collar

Looking for a crime show without all the blood? This is the perfect option for late-night watching. This is a show like no other, that features an FBI Agent, Peter Burke (Tim Dekay) and criminal turned consultant, Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer). Together, they use Peter’s smarts and Neal’s experience in the art crime world to solve crimes no one else can.

It’s never just small crimes though. Things get crazy when Neal’s girlfriend is captured by someone in the FBI, leaving Neal with no one to trust. He and his friend Mozzie (Willie Garson), are always one step ahead of the FBI with a scheme to either help or go behind the FBI’s back. And with Neal, everything is possible.

Originally a USA show, not many people remember this small gem of a show. It shines through, using witty dialogue, beautiful New York City shots, and even brotherly moments as well between Peter and Neal. This show is perfect for watching if you enjoy trying to crack a mystery to the likes of Law and Order, but with a slightly lighter feel, so you don’t get overwhelmed as the night creeps on.

With six seasons and 81 episodes, it’s one of the shorter series on our lists, but it’s worth it. It’s easily binge-able and fun to watch. And it has Matt Bomer. Why would anyone say no?
