5. Jason Voorhees

The Friday the 13th series really got to us growing up. Basically, a day where no good thing happens and it has become a cultural thing where we get free tattoos (honestly it makes no sense). But it still brings to us fear every Friday the 13th.

Jason, who was deformed and ended up drowning in the lake at Camp Crystal Lake, comes back to haunt the campers and, well, murder them. He’s killed a lot of people and doesn’t seem to be stopping. Unless you put water near him (looking at you Freddy Vs. Jason).

But really, he has creepy music and walks up to people with his mask and kills them and if that’s not a monster then I don’t know what is. Especially since he’s not just a normal man doing this. He’s dead, he’s been dead. He can’t be killed. That’s why there are so many movies.

Maybe just like, I don’t know, don’t go camping at Camp Crystal Lake? Wouldn’t that solve the whole problem? But I guess everyone wants to run the risk and see if Jason Voorhees is real. Even though it is very clear he is and will kill you.

So yeah, he’s scarier than the Demogorgon.
