A new wave of images from Stranger Things 2 has been revealed by Entertainment Weekly. The images are so exclusive that we don’t have access to them yet, so you know they’re good.

Nine new episodes will be added to Netflix on Friday, Oct. 27 so we’re less than one month away from the premiere. You can expect plenty of news about the Emmy-nominated Netflix Original series leading up to and immediately after the Oct. 27 premiere. It’s going to be a huge deal that could even top the success of the first season. That first season was nominated for 18 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series, so that’s seriously high praise.

Can the show live up to the hype and be a sequel series similar to the success of The Godfather II, Toy Story 2 or Terminator 2? I like to think so.

The new images show Millie Bobby Brown with her a little bit longer than it was in the first season where she played Eleven.

The next image is of Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, and Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair. Noticeably absent is Noah Schnapp as Wil Byers. That’s explained in the next image where Will is in a hospital bed with an oxygen mask on. The image after that is Will’s mom, Joyce, played by Winona Ryder and Sean Astin as Bob Newby, a new cast member and love interest of Joyce. She is very distraught over the well-being of her baby boy.

The next image shows Joyce and Bob in a much different light as they are sitting on a bench and Joyce is actually smiling for what I think is the first time all series.

We get a glimpse of Sheriff Hopper in the next image and an image of Dacre Montgomery introduced as Billy in the next.

The final three images are EW’s covers. One features Eleven, the boys on the other, and Hopper, Joyce and Bob on the last.
