The Ranch season 2 release date announcement
Mark your calendars because The Ranch season 2 is coming later this summer to Netflix.
We have some great news for the great fans of The Ranch. New episodes are coming exclusively to Netflix on June 16. Ashton Kutcher revealed the news on his Twitter and Facebook accounts on Thursday afternoon.
The show left us with quite the cliffhanger at the end of season 1, part 2 with Colt finding out he’s going to be a dad. But it’s not with Abby, who was finally ready to give Colt the second chance he’s been wanting since he returned home. It’s Colt’s one-time fling, Heather that’s expecting and that leaves us with a ton of questions. Obviously, what does this mean for Colt’s pursuit of Abby who left her fiancée to be with him despite all the red flags?
But that wasn’t the only big change to hit the Bennett family. Rooster is embarking on a new career on a new ranch after finally reaching his breaking point and is no longer willing to work for his stubborn father, Beau. And what will that do with the family dichotomy where Colt will not be getting all the brunt of Beau’s anger without Rooster to deflect and do the hard work?
Part 3 will likely be another 10-episode installment with another 10 episodes coming later in the fall. A release date announcement will likely come later this summer.
In any event, new episodes of The Ranch will be on Netflix on June 16 and we absolutely can’t wait to see where the show goes from here. The fans of the show reach out to us all the time with messages saying they need more episodes and they need them now. They love the family dynamic of the Bennett’s and the relationship between Colt and Rooster, specifically.
