Perhaps you’ve heard of the Peanuts or a little guy named Charlie Brown. Created by Charles M. Schulz, the Peanuts gang first appeared in the comics in the 50s. Like many dorks, Charlie Brown struggled to accomplish a lot of things, both at home and at school. With a number of movies and specials, the Peanuts have been around for more than a few decades.

Then, in 2015, The Peanuts Movie hits theaters. As the first feature film in 35 years, the Peanuts movie release coincided with the 65th Anniversary of the comic strip. In the computer-animated film, Charlie Brown tried to win the affections of a young red-haired girl while Snoopy details his legendary life as a World War I pilot.

Additionally, Noah Schnapp voiced Charlie Brown in the film. That’s right, our very own Will Byers is Charlie Brown. Which makes sense, because they have a lot in common. Both are self-conscious young boys who aren’t that athletic or don’t have a lot of friends. Like Charlie Brown, Will Byers is a sensitive, deep thinker.

Even cooler, Schnapp also appeared in Steven Spielberg’s Bridge of Spies that same year.
