Stranger Things star David Harbour rumored to be starring as Cable in Deadpool 2 alongside Ryan Reynolds.

David Harbour, one of the stars of the Netflix original series Stranger Things, is rumored to be in talks to star as Cable in Deadpool 2, according to a report from The Wrap.

For those who don’t know, Cable is a villain in the comics who can time travel. If Harbour is cast as Cable, it will be an interesting wrinkle in Deadpool 2, which has the potential to be one of the biggest movies of the year it’s released. The first film was awesome!

At Netflix Life, we are huge Harbour fans. It will be great if he is cast in this role.

While Deadpool is a Marvel comic character, 20th Century Fox has the rights to the characters stories along with some of the rights to some of those stories. So, if Harbour stars in Deadpool, there’s like no chance he will ever play Cable in one of the Netflix-Marvel shows. Just letting you know now!

Harbour will be back as Jim Hopper in Stranger Things Season 2. We have already seen Hopper in the first teaser for the season, and if the first season was any indication, he may be the glue guy in the future of this series. Without him, the Stranger Things story is not possible.

Recently, Stranger Things won the SAG Award and Harbour’s fiery speech became a viral video and a meme because of the subject of the speech and Winona Ryder’s reactions to the speech. We have shared the speech below! It’s Harbour at his best.
