Twilight starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner is now streaming on Netflix and ranks in the 50 Best Romantic Movies on Netflix!
Just in time for Valentine’s Day everybody’s favorite vampire love story Twilight is now streaming on Netflix! We have added Twilight to our rankings of the 50 Best Romantic Movies on Netflix, as well.
Twilight is based on the book series of the same name written by Stephenie Meyer. There are four books in the series, and five movies based on the books series. Unfortunately for fans of the series, the first film is the only one on Netflix at the time of publishing. We don’t know whether or not the other movies will coming to Netflix, either.
Melissa Rosenberg, who is also the showrunner for the Netflix original series Marvel’s Jessica Jones, wrote the screenplay for the movie, and Catherine Hardwicke directed the film.
Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Billy Burke, Elizabeth Reaser, Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, Anna Kendrick, Nikki Reed, and Michael Welch star in the film.
The movie tells the story of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), a teenager who moves to the small town of Forks, Washington to live with her dad. Shortly after arriving, Bella starts to develop feelings for Edward (Robert Pattinson), a vampire.
I don’t think there’s any debate that the Twilight movies are not good movies when it comes to critical analysis, but there is a compelling romantic story for a lot of fans. So, we basically had to add the movie to our ranking. There would be a riot if we didn’t.
