Stranger Things Season 2 looks darker than the first season

It doesn’t get much darker than the first season of Stranger Things. A monster was running through a town eating humans (R.I.P. Barb) and a young kid was trapped in another dimension hiding from said monster while a government agency was trying to cover up the disappearance. That’s a pretty morbid premise for a TV series.

As if that wasn’t enough, Stranger Things looks even darker! Instead of a few people being at risk, it looks like the whole town is at risk from an even bigger monster! On top of that, Eleven and Will seem to be going through something real fierce, as we mentioned already.

The potential for even more death and destruction seems imminent in the new season. While it might be entertaining to see what’s in store from the people of Hawkins, we have to hope our young heroes can come out on top. Evil can’t win, or so we hope…
