Marvel’s Luke Cage trailer on Netflix at end of Daredevil Season 2

The first Luke Cage trailer is tucked away nicely as a little treat for Marvel fans at the end of Daredevil Season 2.

If you’re like me you spend the majority of your day watching the Daredevil Season 2 that was released at midnight (PT) on March 18. If you stayed up all night and didn’t do anything else today, you may already be done with your binge-watch session.

And if you did, I hope you stuck around for the first sneak peek at the upcoming Luke Cage series that premieres on September 30 with a teaser trailer tucked in at the end of Daredevil Season 2.

You can’t find the teaser trailer on YouTube yet, but it will autoplay when you finish season 2 we do have some gif’s courtesy of our friends at Entertainment Weekly to satisfy your craving for all things Marvel.

With Nas’ Made You Look playing in the background, Cage stands with a stoic look on his face as gunfire is rained down upon him. Cage has the impenetrable skin so he doesn’t need to worry about them, but he is pretty ticked off about having to buy some new clothes.

Mike Colter plays the titular role and Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy), Alfie Woodard, Mahershala Ali (House of Cards), Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick and Frank Whaley also star in the series.

It’s a bad idea to shoot at Luke because you’re going to get tossed through a glass window and you don’t want that to happen.

Luke Cage first appeared in Season 1 of Jessica Jones where the two had a romantic connection before Kilgrave got in the way. Their paths will cross again in The Defenders miniseries, and future seasons of Jessica Jones. And Cage could make a cameo in Iron Fist Season 1 considering the two teamed up in the comics.

Granted, there’s not much to go on here in this teaser, but how excited are you for the third Marvel TV show to come to Netflix later this fall? Let us know in the comments section or continue the conversation on our social media accounts.
