A group of American college students decides to investigate the mysterious disappearance of some skiers in Russia decades ago. It doesn’t take long for the students to realize something went very wrong, and somebody is trying to cover up the whole situation.

There is some sincerely terrifying mutant like creatures in Devil’s Pass. Film writer Vikram Weet does an extraordinary job making this movie a mystery thriller just as much as it is a horror movie. Devil’s Pass is a Russian-UK production distributed by IFC Films.

It’s another horror film that went straight to DVD but shouldn’t be missed by fans. The movie was actually inspired by some real life events from the Soviet era in Russia to make things even creepier. Watch this movie before you plan your next Russian skiing trip.
